Supporting Farmers with Tools and Training

In over 80% of the countries in which we operate, we have local, year-round farmer support organizations (FSOs) working directly with farmers to ensure they have access to the latest scientific information and farming techniques.

Our teams work with the local community to identify and establish model farms. These farms, owned and run by local farmers, are the primary way technical assistance is delivered. All producers in the region are invited to attend monthly trainings on the model farm, connect with other producers in the region, and access support and personalized recommendations from the FSO.

Farmer support organizations disseminate knowledge and provide support to farmers. Whether they are providing instruction on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), training farmers on techniques to improve yields, or providing general business counseling, our teams on the ground are personally invested in the success and profitability of each farmer and their family.
