Origins: Tanzania

The largest country in East Africa, Tanzania borders the Indian Ocean and lies between Kenya and Mozambique. Coffee was first planted in the country's Kilimanjaro district by Catholic missionaries in 1898, and it is now Tanzania’s largest export crop. Tanzania’s abundant land is endowed with a terroir ideal for growing high-quality Arabicas.
